Founder & Owner
Alex Reyes is a lifelong martial artist, accomplished competitor and breaker, instructor, coach, school owner, and the founder of Point Fighter Live. Raised in a martial arts family, Reyes began competing at age 12 and opened his own martial arts school by 18, beginning a career that has kept him deeply connected to the competitive martial arts world for decades.
Competition remains an important part of Reyes’s martial arts journey. He continues to compete in forms and breaking, staying active on the competition floor while helping grow the sports he has spent years being part of. A 2000 LWM NASKA World Champion, Reyes has also coached and sponsored top point fighting teams and helped produce world champions. His years as an athlete, instructor, coach, and school owner have given him a perspective that extends across nearly every side of the competition floor.
Reyes created Point Fighter Live with a vision of giving competitive martial artists and their events the exposure, recognition, and platform they deserve. What began as a grassroots effort has grown into a multifaceted martial arts media platform featuring livestreams, event coverage, athlete stories, interviews, news, highlights, and original content. He has also used the platform to support and sponsor athletes, teams, tournaments, and breaking events throughout the martial arts community.
Competitive breaking has become an important part of both Reyes’s personal journey and the continued evolution of Point Fighter Live. As an active breaker himself, he brings firsthand experience to his efforts to elevate breaking athletes, promote competitions, and help expand the visibility and reach of the sport.
As Point Fighter Live continues to evolve, Reyes is expanding its reach beyond media coverage and into event development and operations to create new opportunities for athletes and the competitive martial arts community. At the center of that growth remains the vision that started Point Fighter Live in the first place: to grow the sport, elevate its athletes, and give competitive martial arts the attention and platform it deserves.
Editor-in-Chief & Director of Web Operations
Ashley Soden is a lifelong martial artist, competitive breaker, longtime educator, and two-time cancer survivor.
Soden entered competitive breaking in 2024 and quickly advanced to the world stage, earning multiple wins, titles, and championship honors along the way. She proudly represents Team Elite Breakers, led by legendary breaker Larry Fields, alongside her two sons, who are also members of the team.
As a woman competing in a sport still overwhelmingly dominated by men, Soden is passionate about creating greater opportunity and recognition for women in breaking and helping pave the way for the generation of girls coming behind her.
At Point Fighter Live, Soden oversees PointFighter.Live’s creative and editorial direction and manages the website’s day-to-day operations. She is also expanding into event development and operations alongside founder Alex Reyes, with a shared focus on growing the sport, elevating its athletes, and bringing greater visibility to the competitive martial arts community.
